Her eyes widened in shock at what Kaito said. “Oh no…I-I’m sorry Kaito…. I ruined everything…” They tried their best to hide the fact, that he is a boy and she just kept calling him Kaito. She really ruined it.

“It’s fine. The staff here probably heard it, but they didn’t come kick us out, so I guess they were okay with me being here,” he said, voice still low as he glanced at the cashier. The magician did have to wonder what they thought about him dressing as a girl, though…
He shook his head and smiled cheerfully, trying to ease Aoko’s worrying. It wasn’t really her fault. He should have reminded her about talking to him as a girl and given her a name to call him by.
Guess I’m not used to people knowing who I really am when I’m in disguise…
“Though, we should probably still go now. Wouldn’t want to lose time standing around here, right?”
