The thief quickly lifted his head when he heard the voice.

Rather unnerving song to be singing at this time of night…

He looked around, not seeing where the song was coming from right away.

“Umm… Is someone there?”

The song suddenly stopped, and after a few seconds, a man in a yellow coat came out of the shadows, smiling, followed by a couple of giggling kids.

“Hello there. Nice night, isn’t it?”

He turned toward the man, narrowing his eyes when he saw the children behind him. Normally, he wouldn’t have even given thought much of someone walking around with kids, but considering the words he was just hearing….

Kid smiled politely at him, though he kept a confused look.

“A nice night indeed. Were you the one singing just now?”
