Send me ‡ for my character’s reaction to yours climbing into bed with mine. The sudden depression of the bed became apparent and Ran’s eyes opened. She expected to find Conan’s small frame beside her. It was an understatement to say she was surprised when she turned from her current position and her eyes fell upon Kaitou. Scrambling to sit up, she pulled the covers to her. Honestly, he was lucky to have not landed on his backside due to her foot meeting with his face. Not just yet. Surprise and semi-consciousness still held her locked somewhere between waking and sure that she was dreaming.
She wasn’t about to ask how he got in. The Kid worked in mysterious ways. But still, as to the why, she had to know.
“W-what are you doing here?"

“I apologise for disturbing your sleep, ojou-san. I merely wanted to return this,” the thief opened a gloved hand to reveal the silvery watch belonging the small detective in the room next door, “I borrowed it from tantei-kun earlier, but I’m not sure if he’d take a sudden visit from me too well, and I wouldn’t want to accidentally wake Mouri-san while giving it back.”
He slowly lowered his hand to place the device between them, eyes not leaving the other. This probably hadn’t been the best idea either, but the possibility of being kicked in the head hadn’t seemed as bad as walking into Conan’s space outside of a heist. The guy seemed paranoid enough already, and a thief showing up where he thought he was safe likely wouldn’t help…
Well, there was also the fact that, while Kid was always cautious of her, she’d never actually done anything to him.
