Of course, she was under the assumption that Kaito would be the one luring KID in. Sure, she had agreed to help, but she didn’t know the first thing about appearing thief-like or even pretending to steal something. All of her experience with ‘cops and robbers’ as a kid had flown out the window once she became too old for those games.
Snickering into her hands, she tried to imagine Kaito being a thief. He was sweet but hardly seemed the type — a little mischievous, sure, but she couldn’t see him stealing anything more than a few girl’s hearts.
”So all we need is somethin’ that looks worth stealin’ and pretend t’ steal it. Great. Yer gonna need a disguise, right?”

“Yeah, might be a good idea…”
Kaito pretended to think for a moment. Well, think about the disguise, in any case. What was really going through his mind was how to prepare for this. While the ‘target’ needed to be believable enough that Kid might normally go after it, he’d also have to make it obvious enough that it’s not a real heist, so that no… unwanted visitors showed up. And he’d need a plan that would allow Madison to give the card to Kid, if he wanted everything to work out like he wanted….
After a few moments of silence, he sighed.
“Can’t think of one right now, though… You have any suggestions?”
