Hakuba was starting to wonder if this was a good idea. In fact, it was starting to look like a terrible idea, he could already feel his headache worsening, but he also knew that if anything happened, he really shouldn’t be alone. If only Aoko was around…
Hakuba rubbed the bridge of his nose, took a deep breath, sounded to ten and then headed in the direction of the door. He wasn’t answering Kuroba, at least not right away. He knew anything he said now would be rude and probably loose him his escort. Not that Kuroba wasn’t being annoying as hell currently, but you had to make do with what you were given.
“I will most likely rest for a little bit, would you mind telling the teacher I may miss first period?” He was hoping he wouldn’t be gone too long, but he also hadn’t had much sleep last night, so there was a good possibility he would fall asleep.

“Sure.”
The magician followed after Hakuba, reaching into his breast pocket and pulling out a card, which he tossed at the front of the room. It flew on a curve, spinning, but ended up landing right on the teacher’s desk.
“There! Now c’mon.”
Though Kaito had been the one to ask Hakuba to lead the way, he lightly went around the other, getting a few steps ahead.
