❣ – hopelessly horny
The thief silently closed the door behind him, making sure to latch it back. Hakuba probably wouldn’t have let him in if he’d knocked, especially not considering how he currently looked. Though, the shadows did their best to cover his face, it was still noticeably flushed and he highly doubted his Poker Face was doing much to hide the fact that had… a bit of a need right now.
He looked around as he walked down the hall, noticing a dim glow coming from under the living room door, and he couldn’t help but roll his eyes.
Don’t detective’s ever sleep?
The door was quietly pushed open and he stepped in. The light came from the TV, though there wasn’t any sound. The one who had been watching seemed to have fallen asleep, a folder still held in a gloved hand.
Kid smirked as he walked over to the couch and crouched to the side of the other, carefully removing the file and placing in on the ground as he leaned in to speak in Hakuba’s ear in a low voice.
“I can’t imagine that this would be a comfortable place to sleep, tantei.~”
Hakuba had been working on a report that was due tomorrow. It was for a case he’d helped the police with the other day. He had decided to pull an all nighter, turning the TV on but keeping it on mute. He’d got about halfway done before he fell asleep, he didn’t even remember falling asleep, just that his eyes had gotten tired, so he’d gotten up to get some tea.
And then closed his eyes to rest them for a few moments.
Hakuba was out cold, in a deep, soundless sleep. He had been dreaming, but he couldn’t remember what he had been dreaming about. It wasn’t a nightmare, which was rare these days, and he was enjoying a peaceful sleep. But even as deep a sleep he was in, and although he hadn’t heard anyone enter the house, come into the living room or take his folder from his hands. As soon as a voice whispered in his ear, he was awake and bright eyes.
Hakuba bolted up, though he didn’t really have far to go. His head hit the back of the couch, as he’d slumped a bit in his sleep, and pressed his back as far against the couch as he could. His hand instantly went to his ear and he stared at the one who had woken him from the first good nights sleep he’d had in a while.
And gaped.
KID was crouched down by his legs, face close to his, lips pulled up into a grin. Hakuba just stared at him for a few minuets, shocked, wondering if maybe he was still asleep. Though the longer he sat there in surprise, he started to realize he was not asleep, and that the thief had broken into his house.
“Just what do you think you’re doing?” Hakuba demanded, his British accent starting to bleed through in his words a bit.
The smirk widened at the detective’s response and he chuckled some at the question. Better reaction than he thought it would be…
The thief put an elbow down on the edge of the cushion, resting a cheek on his hand as he looked at the other, reaching his other arm out to trail gloved fingers along Hakuba’s jawline before stopping at his chin, pulling forward slightly.

"You’re a detective, aren’t you? Why not take a guess?”
