☠:A popular fanon headcanon about my character that bugs me

(Ok, I’ll admit, I don’t know too many fanon headcanons for Kai, much less ones I don’t agree with… But I’ll say one thing that bugs me regarding Kaito and Conan. -completely not influenced by who’s asking, I swear-

I get why people say he doesn’t know Conan is Shinichi based on the movies, since they aren’t canon. But I still think Kid knows anyway, albeit it’s based on my knowledge I get from the anime, and the anime is partially influenced by movies. The first time Kid meets Conan, he calls him boy-‘bozu’. Second time, during the magic lovers murder, he calls him detective-‘tantei’. Third time they meet, he says great detective-‘meitantei’. One could argue for him just thinking Conan’s a bright kid, but meitantei is pushing that argument… But again, I don’t know it that’s what the original manga said at those times, and the meitantei calling might have come from Movie 3 for all I know.)
