He blinked and moved them around more, cautiously raising a hand to touch the top if his head. And met something warm and fuzzy.
…Did Akako do something to me in my sleep or something?
The ears picked up a noise coming from the door and he turned just in time to see Hakuba coming into the room. They went flat against his skull again and he backed up slightly in his seat, only to notice something else didn’t seem right. But this time, he didn’t check. He didn’t really have to. A black tail curled around him and flicked around some, clearly visible from the front, causing the magician to stare at it for a moment before his face turned a bit pink.
What the… why ears and a tail?
…Oh, right. Hakuba. He glanced back up at the detective, hoping he hadn’t seen yet. The ears would be hard to spot if they just stayed down…. now if he could just get the tail under his shirt…
Hakuba poured some of the rubbing alcohol on his hands, after removing the gloves, and rubbed his hands together, before cupping said hand and pouring a bit onto it. He then let it trail slowly up and down Kaito’s back before using his fingers to rub it in, cleaning the skin on his back, fingers pressing into muscles as he did so, making sire it was clean.
Hakuba then cupped his fingers, pouring a smaller amount into them and then slowly started to massage it into the other teens hair, and the backside of his ears, using his thumb to wipe the other side, keeping it gentle, and trying not to get water droplets in the other ears. He then capped the rubbing alcohol and started to scratch the other behind the ears with his nails this time, the other hand going up and down his spine.
He remained where he was and just let Hakuba do his disinfection, enjoying the actual skin to skin contact and massaging, almost closing his eyes again… until he started messing around with his ears. At that, he was alert, but resisted the urge to pull away from the hands or do anything to the other. It wouldn’t last very long, anyway…
And had been worth it. All the feeling from before came back, but now it went even deeper and had warmth. Kaito let out a sigh of contentment, tail flicking once behind him before going still again. He muttered something that sounded suspiciously like ‘Love you’ into the pillow, but soon fell back into just making small sounds of happiness and pleasure, so who knows if the other caught it.
