Kaito trailed off when he saw who had called out. He might not remember every random person he met, but someone who’d said he would be able to figure out who Kid is wasn’t the type he’d forget… But it did make him wonder if they really would be able to.
He smiled at the other, putting his hands in his pockets as he completely turned to face them.
“I’m not doing anything right now anyway.”

Whoa. That was his true name? That was funny. Well, to xir anyway, but xie’d learned long ago that xir sense of humor was the shittiest.
“Neat name. Hey, I know you’re probably busy with your classes and sidejobs, but we should hang out sometimes handsome.”
Xie was pretty interesting after all- wait a sec.
“Please tell me I didn’t say that out loud again.”
There was a solid handful of people xie’d called sexy recently. It was starting to be worrying.
He blinked at the sudden compliment, then tried to bring a hand up to hide some of the laughter that came after the other stopped speaking. It didn’t work too well.
‘Again’? Just how often does that happen?
Kaito soon managed to stop laughing, but the grin never left his face. It would be interesting to have someone who knows who he was, outside of Jii and his mom. Well, and Hakuba, but that didn’t really count, since he couldn’t let the detective actually know for certain…
“I could, though you probably wouldn’t believe me anyway.~ But I guess I don’t mind hanging out.”
