He’d been staring at the red ball in front of him for a good ten minutes, debating on whether or not to try this again. The last time he had, he’d almost broken the television set in the living room, and there was now a small dent in the wall behind it.
Which was why he was now in the park, sitting a bit out of the way underneath a tree.
The desire to try again was just so tempting… And he’d already come all the way out here with the ball anyway…
Kaito narrowed his eyes at the orb, and it slowly started to rise, spinning slightly as it did. When it rose about twenty-five centimetres off the ground, he was almost ready to smile… Until it suddenly went arcing to the side and over a wall.

After giving a small sigh, the magician stood up and went over to the wall, a quick jump easily allowing him to get on top of it. He looked down, expecting to just see the toy, but was mildly surprised to find a person instead. Holding the ball.

The teen dropped down from the ledge, soon standing and giving the other a sheepish smile.
“Ahh.. that’s my mine. Tossed it just a bit too high, there. I hope it didn’t hit you or anything.”
