Napping at heists seemed to be becoming a reoccurring thing for Shinichi lately, or at least coming to heists not in the best of health. This time he’d actually napped while waiting for the thief and when he woke it was to the rustling of that well known cape. Hoping the master thief hadn’t realized he had been napping, he moved to try and stand, feeling off.
He wasn’t getting sick was he? He hoped not, KID wouldn’t be pleased at all.
“Took you long enough,” he teased, the long and fluffy tail behind him swishing playfully. He had no idea it was there. Nor that there were a matching pair of ears settled in his hair.
His eyes lidded a little behind his glasses, leaning into the scratch against his ears. Oh that was just heavenly. Though he became a little worried when KID leaned closer still, his arm reaching around him and causing him to blush brightly.
Of course he was then suddenly staring at a fluffy cat’s tail that twitched in agitation. “N-no… I definitely didn’t have that before my nap…” As the tail pulled from KID’s hand, he could feel it still lashing a bit against the back of his legs. “I.. don’t know how that happened.”
Kid grinned at the detective’s response to the scratching. He was beginning to wonder the furry appendages weren’t the only differences…
“Hmm… well, this doesn’t seem too bad, for a random appearance change…”
The hand on the other’s head slowed, the gloved fingers eventually sliding down to lightly rub under Shinichi’s chin.
