The magician didn’t even hear the door being opened, too busy letting the water run over his head one last time before reaching over to shut it off. He rubbed the water from his eyes as he turned to the side and started to open the shower curtain, hand immediately stopping and pulling it back up some when he saw someone was beyond it.
“Jeeze, couldn’t you at least knock, Ahouko?!”
Kaito’s face was quickly turning red and he completely closed the curtain. She’d come over to watch a movie with him, but he thought she’d been asleep on the couch last he’d checked…
Aoko’s eyes widened a bit and her cheeks turned red. “I-I’m sorry, but I did knock. You may just didn’t hear it. I wanted to ask how much time you need to get down again.” She felt embarrassed about the situation. It didn’t took her long to turn her back towards her friend. “A-anyway.. I-I had a little important question t-that I wanted to ask you.”
He sighed and turned his back to her from the other side of the curtains, crossing his arms and trying to calm down and get the blush away. But it was rather hard to do with her still in the room…
“…You couldn’t have just waited out in the other room for a while? The water should have told you I was taking a shower…. But since you’re already in here, might as well go ahead and ask.”
