…Yeah, this isn’t exactly going to work either…
He’d thought that maybe wrapping them around him would cut down on how much space they took up, but it was already uncomfortable trying to aim them down under his arms, much less keeping them there for hours on end. And they stuck out under the shirt anyway…
The magician sat on the bed, pulling off the shirt and spreading his black wings slightly before drawing them back. Some feathers were slightly askew now, but he wasn’t paying much attention. He stared absently at them, giving a brief thought to the fact that they’d been white last night… but as randomly as they had appeared, he wasn’t all that concerned that the colour wasn’t the same. And he was a bit annoyed with them right now, since they’d made it very difficult for him to sleep comfortably last night… He turned to lay across the bed on his stomach, letting the feathery appendages relax to either side and looked at the shirt he held in his hand. If he was going to be able to return to school and go to heists, he was going to need to figure something out…
Kaito started when his door suddenly swung open, reflexively pulling the wings in again as someone stepped in. And he could only stare in shock, at the detective standing in the doorway, clearly having noticed the rather large new additions…
“…Most people knock before coming into someone’s room, you know…” he finally said. He knew he wouldn’t be able to really lie about the wings not being real or anything along those lines, since it would be far too easy to break apart. And he was too tired to deal with even trying right now.
He tossed the shirt on the ground in front of him and put his head down on the sheets, the wings beginning to relax again.
“…And I think you got your answer…”
