Hakuba picked up the collar once it was placed down, and waited for him to see the rest before moving behind him, the little bell making soft ringing sounds as he moved. “This collar has two rules.” Hakuba moved so the collar was halfway around his neck, but didn’t snap it closed just yet. “Rule number one, the only person who can remove this collar, is me. The only one who can put this collar on you, is me.” He adjusted it a bit, making sure it was loose enough.
“The second rule is, as long as this collar is on, you can not talk.” And with that he snapped it shut. “You can only say no, or stop if I am doing something you don’t like. Otherwise, not a word from you. If you break either of these rules, you will not be having the cake.” Hakuba let his fingers linger before pulling back. He then reached up and removed the hat from his head, picking up the cat ears and gently placing them atop his head, making sure the band was well hidden.
“Stand up so I can put on the tail.” His cheeks flushed a little at that.
Ok, that, he hadn’t expected. He lightly touched the bell with a finger, eyes narrowed and face neutral as took in what the other had said. Really, he would have followed the rules with or without the promise of cake, simply because he’d agreed to this situation in the first place.

After the ears were placed, he hesitated before nodding and pushing the chair back some so he could stand, taking a few steps to the side and drawing up his cape so that the detective could attach the tail, bell ringing as he did.
