“Didn’t you just get one not too long ago?”
He shrugs and leans forward to kiss her on the cheek this time, grinning as he pulled away slightly, teasing by purposefully not taking her lips this time.
She brought a bit space between them, smiling happily at him. “Alright! Then let’s do it this way. I’ll tell my dad that we’ll do homeworks together, since I’m worried that I got too bad in class. That way, he won’t be surprised, when he enters my room and sees you. What do you say?”
A brief feeling of guilt went through him. She may be cheerful… but he knew her dad usually got home a lot later than usual during heist nights. Kaito knew he probably wouldn’t actually be there when the inspector did arrive…
“…Sounds good. Though, we’ll need to come up with something else for when we have breaks.”
