“Didn’t you just get one not too long ago?”
He shrugs and leans forward to kiss her on the cheek this time, grinning as he pulled away slightly, teasing by purposefully not taking her lips this time.
“No matter what…I’ll always love you…Kaito.” She hugged him a bit tighter, burying her face into his shoulder. “Whenever you want to talk about something, just come to me. I also could help you with your heists.”
When she got closer, it didn’t take too long for him to rest his head on her own shoulder, closing his eyes.
“No helping with heists. That’d be abetting a criminal, you know.”
And I don’t want you getting too much deeper into my troubles…
“…And, if you could… It’d be best not to come to them at all. People might get suspicious if the inspector’s daughter is ever seen waiting up on the roof once too often…” A pause. “I could come visit your house afterwards, though.”
