Kaito blinked and jerked back a bit, startled to see someone else immediately on the other side of the door to the cafe he’d just opened, their own hand reaching for the now-pulled-away knob. A few seconds of staring passed before he recovered from the surprise and smiled, moving out of the way for the other.
…But then he noticed people inside watching the door, a few smiling. The magician followed the line of sight and… ah. Umm… Why did they put it right over the door? Over some tables made more sense, but the door? Where something like this could happen? …Or maybe that’s what they wanted, in which case…
Kaito looked off to the side for a moment, then smiled and leaned in to lightly peck the other on the cheek.
“Sorry, not exactly something I can ignore~” He said, still smiling, but a bit more apologetically. Hard to resist an audience when it’s for something harmless.
