Though he wasn’t as surprised by his counterpart’s actions as he would’ve been a few months back, the gentle kiss was still enough to stun him for a few moments, cheeks tainted a faint pink.
And then he blinked, attention turning towards the bag held out before him. A grin almost instantly spread across his lips and he laughed brightly, reaching out to take the rather unexpected gift. Hey, it wasn’t exactly every day he got a Christmas present from a parallel version of himself.
“You really know how to make a guy’s day,” Kaito snickered, gaze darting up to meet the thief’s own. Something playful and mischievous flickered across his face and before the other male could decide to leave, he swiftly moved to close the small distance between them, leaning in to capture his other self’s lips in a kiss, warm and gentle and just a few moments longer than usual, before pulling back, grinning.
“Thank you~”
Kid smiled himself at the other’s reactions to both the kiss and the gift, giving a pleased hum and about to respond when he noticed the look. The thief blinked, barely registering what that face normally meant before his doppelganger moved and gave a soft kiss in return, lasting long enough to make sure the white thief’s face became slightly flushed.
There may have been a small frown of a pout when the other did pull back, because, jeeze… not that fair of a game if you immediately return it… However, it soon became a smile again, though softer this time.
“You’re not bad at making days brighter yourself…” A grin broke out, along with a snort of laughter. “…Or is that still myself? Either way, you’re very welcome… And thank you for the return ‘gift’~”
