1. A headcanon you’re not sure of yet.

(Hmm… That’s a bit hard, since most of my headcanons are made up at random, and I generally approve of them immediately… Hmm… Honestly, my biggest headcanon I have involves Toichi’s last show, which of course is never set in stone for any Kaito, really. Never going to accept what the new anime showed for it, since aside from Spider interactions and discussions, I do tend to fall back on manga interpretations. I mean, I’d like to do my ramble on that eventually, maybe tonight since I’m already thinking about it, but I guess in general… Oh. Pffft. How he got his fear of fish. It would be a quick and random thing to come up with, since phobias actually don’t need much to be built, but nothing’s ever stuck out to me out of my ideas that I approved of.)
15. One thing that draws you to a character to want to roleplay them?

(Ah… I’ve actually thought about this one before, because of ‘who I liked vs who I’d want to RP’ in the Professor Layton games. Aside from ‘they have to catch my interest’, really, it’d have to be… well, psychological side of me says mentality. But it’s only part of it. Like, I play Kai, but wouldn’t play Shinichi/Conan, even if they could have similar ways of thinking due to circumstances. And I have nothing against Shinichi. For PL, I like Randall, Descole, and Clive, but would only play Descole, even if Randall is actually very similar to Kai in many ways. Well, I did play the Masked Gentleman of sorts on Halloween, but that’s the thing… Even back before when I was only considering RP, I knew MG was one I could play, but Randall wasn’t. I don’t know… A lot of things go into who I’d Rp I guess, including unanswered questions about the character, interest in how they think, having a lot of ‘what ifs’ for the character, and… well, probably that they’re in the grey area of morality, to an extent. Characters up for interpretation that no one knows everything about, even if they know the character themselves. And in most ways, Kai and Spider are opposites. One’s a popular character everyone knows, one’s a non-canon but still official MK character that’s just a huge mystery. But for all his fans, not everyone actually looks into Kaito beyond the fun, so that’s why I like him especially.
…To sum up, I believe I like to play characters that make me think and wonder things about them.)
17. A character trait you think is overused?

(There… well, there are quite a lot of those… And as many good writers and characters I’ve seen, those don’t always intersect… I mean, if I look at a list, one that comes to mind that I don’t consider is stubbornness. But that’s more of a general person thing, not a character trait to really pick on… A lot of people will have a stubborn streak at times… Maybe just angstiness? Not that I don’t enjoy it, but reading manga and such, and though I’ve fallen out of reading actual books right now, I’ve read far more than enough to notice that almost all important characters have to go through some sort of angsty phase, or just be like that in general. It’s mostly due to the fact writers like to have things happen either in the past or present that can make a character more interesting. Better written characters get past it fairly well, but people tend to like ones that don’t, and looking at broody characters can only be interesting so many times before it gets old. All interesting characters have bad moments, but the best ones manage through it, in all honesty. Ones that don’t, *looks at Sasuke from Naruto and so many other action shonen anime, and quite a few from shoujo and other types as well*, …eh, they tend to get on my nerves a bit. Would try to think of more TV and books type things, but manga what I gravitate towards first, so… *shrugs* Angst is fine, but jeeze, moderate if you want to hold more people’s attention.)
