   horrified. Dammit, he really shouldn’t have taken
   up that challenge knowing people like KID were
   around. What’s worse, he managed to solve it
   after admitting defeat.

Giggling and waving his hands, the tiny detective
   stepped cautiously away.

“Aha, we probably can’t do it now. I mean, you don’t
   have a costume in my size. Besides, won’t people
   know I’m not you? I’m way shorter and handsomer
   than you.”

“I never said I intended for people to think you were me, tantei~ You’re not taking my place, just paying homage to the Japanese Lupin a little… You did agree to do it~”

The thief took a step forward, the grin that makes even the most determined cops freeze in caution quickly spreading. In one swift motion, he took his own top hat off to place on the chibi’s head, pulling the brim down over the other’s eyes as he covered him with the cape.

“And you’d be surprised at how prepared I can be~” The amused voice rang as he pulled the cloth away, and really, tantei-kun, think he wouldn’t keep something like that with him after giving that command? Kid’s more set on the things he wants to see than that~
