Send me ‡ for my character’s reaction to yours climbing into bed with mine. The sudden depression of the bed became apparent and Ran’s eyes opened. She expected to find Conan’s small frame beside her. It was an understatement to say she was surprised when she turned from her current position and her eyes fell upon Kaitou. Scrambling to sit up, she pulled the covers to her. Honestly, he was lucky to have not landed on his backside due to her foot meeting with his face. Not just yet. Surprise and semi-consciousness still held her locked somewhere between waking and sure that she was dreaming.
She wasn’t about to ask how he got in. The Kid worked in mysterious ways. But still, as to the why, she had to know.
“W-what are you doing here?"
She looked from the watch to his face and back to the watch, blinking back more of her sleep and sitting up in the bed to gain a better hold on her consciousness. She was convinced she had been dreaming up until the point he offered her the watch. “Conan-kun’s watch?” She wondered just when he’d gotten his hands on it as Conan was pretty protective of it, but didn’t really want to ask.
“Oh, well thank you, Kaitou Kid.” She reached out to take it from him, hoping not to drop the piece of jewelry. not believing that she was actually there thanking the thief. “I’ll make sure he gets it.” The entire event seemed almost surreal, the moonlight streaming in the window and Kid sitting on her bed. She didn’t oppose the intrusion but was not too keen on it either. Pulling the sheets up a bit, she nodded. “I take it you’ll be going now?” It was more of a statement than a question.

“Of course, ojou-san. I’ve done what I came to do, thank you.”
Kid moved off of the bed. He could only push his luck so far, and really, visiting Mouri-chan’s room in the middle of the night might already have been stretching it. She didn’t seem to mind the visit as much as he could have feared, but still better to leave as soon as possible. The thief swiftly hopped up onto the window ledge, pausing before heading off to look up, then looked back at the other.
“Ah… If you could not mention that I was the one who had it, as well? I apologise for asking these favours, but I’m not sure he’d be happy knowing something of his was in the hands of a thief.” And didn’t want to risk even more possible trouble at the next heist because of anything.
