Tail fluffed as he glares at the other. Jeez, he has a hard enough time with some animals like this, he does not need to be barked at.
“You let him go! I can smell how unhappy he is! Release him at once or I’ll tear that smile from your face!” The claws on his hands flexed menacingly as his tail bristled.
So yes, he was jealous, but a large chunk of his anger was from Conan’s apprehension. If his human was unhappy, Madfang was very unhappy.
“If he were really unhappy, he has his watch. He can handle himself around a largely harmless thief, I’d think…”
His hold tightened, just a tad, while he watched the other.
“I don’t think it’s really protection you need to worry about, so…” Smirk. “Jealous that someone else currently has him and not you?”
