Well, the hat coming off did feel nicer, though the top hat didn’t affect them nearly as bad as baseball caps and the like. They were folded back slightly, however. Kid’s wariness of having part of what keeps him hidden removed hadn’t completely disappeared because of the neko situation…

But when the other simply gave more compliments, they came forward a bit more. …Maybe the ears themselves helped keep him from being completely recognised? And he did still have the monocle, so… It might be fine…
