He seems to accept this and pulls back, giving him the space again as he continues to pet him. This didn’t add up but he wasn’t going to push it. After all anyone that interests him is always going to have a tab on them. He smiles gently.

“So what brings a wanted thief onto my patio?” He asks. After all no one really lands on his rooftop patio. He was honest no one really knew of the his rooftop penthouse. “Another escape so you need a place to hide?”

The cat-eared thief relaxed more when Enzio backed away. Really, the petting helped with that. Keeping him calm and comfortable. The other didn’t seem to have the intention of doing anything right now either… just getting up close to his face all of the sudden had startled him.

“Something like that… I only meant to rest up here for a short time, since it was out of the way.” And really, he hadn’t completely noticed Enzio while landing. Tiredness had hit after ‘playing’ with the police, so he’d been a bit out of it. …Still not sure whether he should be lucky or unlucky the other was someone he knew, either…

“But I shouldn’t be intruding for too much longer. They shouldn’t continue chasing into the night after losing sight of me completely…” A yawn escaped him on the last word, which he quickly fought back down. …No, he probably shouldn’t be with anyone he doesn’t know too well in this state… and in costume. Too dangerous for Kid to be like this right now.
