You know… Kaito being a Kid fanboy and annoying Aoko with it is used often, and that’s all well and good. But… if you think about it, Kaito’s not really the type to gush over people. Events, objects, and places I can see at times, but not really  the sort to never shut up about a person. So… I wouldn’t be surprised if the only time before Kid, the only person Kaito would bring up over and over would have been Toichi. Since he already seemed to be bugging Aoko with how proud of his dad he was.

I really should icon the specials like I did the anime. I still haven’t gone meticulously and frame by frame for them, it’s just been ‘oh, I remember the expression I need, it’s in this episode let me go get that’.

But then I find something like this:

And it makes me want to start up again…

Okay, but as nice as Heiji blushing is, am I the only one who finds the scene the pictures are from incredibly cringe-worthy? Because he feels OOC in this. I don’t know Japanese, but the situation looks like he’s met this person for the first time, she asked directions, and then the earring thing happened. Would Heiji really get like that over someone he only just saw and met?

I don’t know, it just feels so wrong to me.
