And cue one almost drooling halfa floating over to stare longingly at said platefuls of cookies. “…Wouldn’t be willing to share with a simple ghost, would you~?”

The thief raised an eyebrow at the floating teen, chuckling some as he took another and nudged one of the plates in the other’s direction.

“Help yourself~ Though, pretty sure a ‘simple ghost’ shouldn’t have a need for any in the first place.”

Aoko shot a short glare at him and ate the other half of the cookie. “You’re no fun today, Bakaito. Maybe I should ask Hakuba-kun instead. He surely would play along.”, she suggested more to herself than him, looking around for the detective.

“Good luck with that. Haven’t seen him in class yet today.”

Kaito picked up one of the lemon cookies and held it out. Really, he’d brought them to share, not make people irritated. At least, not today.

“And it pains me that you’d say someone who brought things like this wouldn’t be any fun. Maybe you had a bit to much sour from something that’s supposed to be sweet.” The smile and tease in his voice were enough to tell that he wasn’t really serious.

She took another piece and held it right in front of Kaito’s face. “Say ‘Aaah’, Kaito~” Aoko always wanted to do this once with him, but never had the courage to do so.

Kaito blinked at the sudden cookie in his face, then glanced over at Aoko, smirking, because, while he’s not quite so sugar blinded as to do as she says to get a cookie, he’s not nearly mature enough to go along with it either. Nope, the magician just leans forward to get some of it himself, breaking off some with a grin.

She nodded with a smile on her face. Luckily he loved sharing things with others. Reaching out for the chocolate, she took a white one and put it in her mouth.

“Mmmm~ So delicious! Where did you get them, Kaito?”

“Made ‘em.~” He answered, offhand as he took a bite of the one he had. Much more rewarding and fun to make this kind of stuff yourself.~

Aoko stood in front of him and bend down a little with a soft smile on her lips.

“Kaito~? May I have one too?”

The magician himself already had a classic chocolate chip one in his hand and smiled at her, a little to excited over any excuse to have so many of these in the first place. Yep, he’s very much a little kid when it comes to anything sweet.
