The thief lazily opened an eye to look up first towards the flower, then at his detective.

“And here I thought I was the one who’s supposed to pull flowers out of thin air…” He reached up to lightly touch the new accessory before letting his arm fall down to the side, taking Hakuba’s hand and bringing it to his lips, placing a small kiss on the other’s fingers and smiling softly.

“Not that I’m complaining, of course~,” Kid said as the brought the hand to his chest and closed his eyes again, completely relaxed and content to leave the flower there.

Kaito paused a moment to touch the flower before grinning and reaching out to hug his detective and give a quick kiss to the cheek.

“Thanks, Hakuba. I’ll do my best to wear it proudly~”

Well, as proudly as he could for being a guy with a flower on his head, but, while there may have been a slight tease in his voice, the magician wasn’t going to remove it. Not really something he’d been expecting, but not unwelcome in the slightest.

Send my muse a symbol, to see how my muse would touch yours, if...

α:…they are worried about your muse.

The thief stepped forward until he was standing in front of her, glancing her up and down once in assessment before just looking her in the face and gently putting a hand on her shoulder, eyes flicking back and forth between hers as he frowned slightly.

ε

Send my muse a symbol, to see how my muse would touch yours, if...

ε:…they were trying to calm/sooth your muse.

Not quite as cocky as it usually was, but still a confident, small smile on his face as he approached, slowly reaching out to gently place a hand on her arm, lightly rubbing with his thumb. Then, he continued getting closer until he could shift his position to lean against her from the side, sliding the arm around her shoulder and pulling her in a bit, moving his hand up and down the upper arm slightly in a slow, even rhythm.

Touches are non-verbal forms of communication. So send my muse a symbol, to see how my muse would touch yours, if…

α: …they are worried about your muse.
β: …they want to comfort your muse.
δ: …they demand your muse’s attention.
ε: …they were trying to calm/sooth your muse.
ζ: …they were angry at your muse.
η: …they wanted to warn your muse.
θ: …they are afraid of your muse.
λ: …they were missing your muse.
μ: …they want to seduce your muse.
ξ: …they want to say farewell to your muse.
π: …they want to convey their love to your muse.
ρ: …they want to bother/tease your muse.
ς: …they want to ask for comfort.
σ: …they want to beg your muse for forgiveness.
My muse will only react with a single touch and will say no word.

Kaito was a bit surprised when she stopped to pick up a flower off of the grass. And blinked a few times when she suddenly decided to walk over and put it on his head. But after a moment, he just glanced up at the flower before turning to continue walking, going a ways before smirking and looking back at her. The magician motioned her to come closer before quickly moving to put the same type of flower in her hair.

“There. Now they match~”

He’d been half-asleep on the park bench, but Kaito opened his eyes when he felt the flower being placed, looking up at the vaguely familiar face of the person in front of him. Where had he…

Oh, right… I hugged her as Kid that one time…

The magician smiled at the girl, resting his head on a palm and raising an eyebrow.

“Hmm… That’s an interesting thing to wake up too… But thanks for the flower~”

✿~ (Had to, c’mon.)

He followed her hand as she reached over to place the flower. Really it wasn’t too much of a surprise, since Kaito had come to visit Madison while she was at work.

“Hmm… Doesn’t look too bad, I hope? But…”

The dark haired teen grinned and snapped his fingers, making a blue rose appear on the florist’s own head.

“I think they suit you better~”

Kaito blinked as he felt something being put in his hair and he lifted his head off the desk and tilted up slightly as he reached up to feel petals there, though he didn’t take the flower off. A quick glance behind him told him who the ‘culprit’ for the new, temporary accessory was, pulling a small grin from the magician.

“Any particular reason for this, or just felt like my head needed some colour?”
