The magician understood perfectly well he could say no. Despite the fact the original bet had felt slightly underhanded in that it had felt like he should do what the other had asked just because he’d been the one to lose… Well, even then, Hakuba had never forced him to do anything, even when what he’d wanted at the time had been clear.
…And he couldn’t very well use that thinking now…

…He probably should have known Hakuba would still be taking his guard down, but had the same rules really been necessary? One thing to knock him off balance, but it’s kind of another to make sure he had almost no floor to stand on to begin with…

Kaito shot Hakuba a light glare at the ‘sooner or later’ comment before pulling his shirt over his head. Yes, he’d agreed to start dating, but the other knew perfectly well he wasn’t used to this sort of thing. At least when he’s not the one initiating it. Definitely can’t take what he gives out – teasing, slight flirting, kisses and contact – in the slightest.
A lot more hesitation affected him when it came to getting out of his pants and the last, but he still said nothing to the effect of refusal, and did step into the bubble covered water to join Hakuba a minute later.
“Aqua- Ah… Well, first of all, the target would have to be moved there. Because I wouldn’t plan one there myself. It’s, ah… Not the best kind of place to escape from to begin with, with so many tanks and such, it’s not so easy as going through a museum.
But if it were moved… I’d ask if Jii could take care of it. I don’t ask him to do whole heists often, but he’s taken over parts of them before. Even if it was just the actual getting the jewel part, I could do the running to escape if he could get it outside. Second plan would still involve him, though I could try just popping in for an appearance and to draw attention while he gets the gem. That’d have to include disguising after I show up, though, so it’d be hoping the police don’t plan around it…”
“…If worst came to worst, I’d still try to do the heist as usual. It shouldn’t be too bad if I plan beforehand and learn routes to take, because then I can focus more on moving and escaping capture than everything around me that’s behind glass walls. I’d just need to treat them like walls.”
“…That should answer your question, but on the whole, you do realise that while, yes, I don’t like some things and prefer they’re kept away from me, I can hold my own just fine if they are around and I have more pressing matters to focus on, right?”
(Known fact: Kaito Kuroba is a little shit. When interacting with parallel versions of himself, this does not change. In fact he’s even more of a little shit. And I think the amount of “little shit”-ness only increases the more Kaitos there are to interact with.)

The jewel may have already caused multiple Kaitous to be searching for it, but I’m kinda the one who started crossing dimensions on a regular basis. probably didn’t help the universes in the grand scheme of things, to make those holes bigger. Let the two of them get together easier.” Smile. “Though it also means even more Kaitous could help, like our wrecking ball representative~”

But that part didn’t matter to her. The part that mattered to her was the part she was trying to make sense of–
Pandora, and crossing universes.

The whole idea of Pandora and this ‘denial’ he spoke of didn’t make much sense to her. None of it did.
