(Well, if Toichi’s worried about possible nightmares from a few pictures… I’m sure he would love to know about all of this happening to his son in the time he’s been gone… And that’s just Kid damage, let’s not think of possible emotional blows the years following the death of his father had on him.)

“The first one was expected, but really, who sent that one? Because we’re not the only split Kaito(u), technically.”

“Guess they just want to get him up to date and see how he takes everything that’s happened? Though, my biggest concern is for the other split one of us, considering…”

“Ah… right… he’s been doing a lot better, but this… …I’m not sure how he’ll take it…”

These two don’t really mind the small embarrassment of a protective father. Heck, just the other day, they wouldn’t have thought they’d have that. Even if he’s mad at the other, the thought of him possibly not approving had been a concern, when the collective Kais though about it. Wouldn’t have changed how he felt, but it was nice to know the decision on who he picked was supported.

“…I know we tend to not get involved with him when he interacts with the others… But should we be worried?”

“…Probably. But… Outside of our own universe, he’s not really the same with everyone, so…”

The thief’s going to be sending a glare at the assassin – which is just going to be ignored, he knows – before the look changes to concern as he watches his other self, wondering if he should offer some company. Pretty sure the double wouldn’t mind helping as well.

Just going to sit over here as one who tends to like adaptations of the Sherlock Holmes books, no matter how bad. Helps that he doesn’t care too much about how it compares to source material and just watches as its own entertainment.

“It ends up looking like this. You don’t see too many recognisable features. Most of the time, when the people try and remember my face, they can’t tell what it looked like. There’s a bit too much action going on to get a clear look and focus on it. But for the second reason… I can get away with a less than perfect covering simply because I’m known as a master of disguise. Even if people did see me, most wouldn’t think it’s my actual face. Only exception might be tantei-kun, since he knows more what I might look like, facially.

Really, just playing with expectations and making people second guess themselves. Still better than just glasses.”
