A heart-shaped package is wrapped in white, criss-crossed with a blue ribbon; it contains chocolates decorated with small four-leaf clovers. Some of them are filled with raspberry filling, others with caramel, and some are white chocolate. It’s a mystery as to what is filled with what, save for the white chocolate. There’s no sender in sight, but a note is taped to the box itself, and it reads, “Happy Valentine’s day, from yours truly.”

Took a moment for him to notice the box, but when he did… well, he was still mildly confused, but he smiled. The colours certainly felt familiar, and the clovers that lay in the box when he opened it said well enough who the chocolates might be from. The fact that the package just got left surprised him more than anything, with how the other selves tended to act.

He picked up one of the sweets, looking at it a bit before taking a bite, smile growing wider at the taste of caramel in that one.

Definitely will need to thank ‘yours truly’ later~

And a box of the really expensive good chocolates and a kiss on the cheek from Sugaru.

Two of these? The magician may have gotten a little more used to the others’ gifts at times, and it wasn’t as bad as the Christmas presents, but still…The kiss caught him by surprise a little, thought not too much. Sugaru was far more open with affection, but it’s hard to get used to it from someone who definitely likes someone else, so there’s a slight pink tinge after that. Kaito just smiled gratefully as he took the box.

“…Thanks, Sugaru.”

Hakuba smiles and leans down to kiss him, hands behind his back. “I have something for you.” He holds out a huge box of chocolate, the really good expensive kind. “I know you have a sweet tooth.” In his other hand is two plane tickets.

“Gee, I wonder what gave that away~”

He grinned wide as he accepted the box. Really, they spoiled each other, and Kaito was more than fine with that, for the most part. He gave a return kiss, then tilted his head to look at the other hand.

“…Is there something else outside of my being a fan of sugar?”

It feel extremely awkward handing him a box of chocolate, but she wasn’t sure if he was the flower receiving type. “I saw you eyeing it in my stash, so I got you some of your own.”

It seemed the magician didn’t quite share her awkward feelings as he accepted the chocolate, grinning and snapping his finger to make a rose appear, tucking it behind the florist’s ear. The reason for the candy giving didn’t particularly matter, though he did know what day it was now. And really, he wouldn’t mind receiving flowers too much, but sweets are definitely going to get a more giddy Kaito, who also left a kiss on her cheek.

“Thanks, Madison~”

Aoko knew, this probably wasn’t the best time to do it, but she just wanted to be the first one. She had sneeked into Kaito’s room as soon as he left. Right now, she was sitting on his bed, waiting for him to get back from his heist. The clock just switched to midnight as he finally got back. Standing up, she opened the door to his balcony and let him in. “Kaito, I have something for you.” Her arms moved towards his direction and in her hands she held a box. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”.

…Well, he couldn’t say he’d been expecting anyone to be in his room. A Valentine’s gift form Aoko may not have been unexpected, but… After a heist, he didn’t expect anyone in his house, much less here

But he soon smiled when he saw who had been sitting on the bed, nodding his head in thanks at the open door, then blinking and looking at her curiously when she started speaking. And blinked at the box.

Oh. Oh right… It was after midnight, wasn’t it? The heist more than distracted him from this little fact. Though, he still wouldn’t have considered someone waiting for him because of it.

“…Thank you, Aoko-ojou.” He said, smiling softly, though with a slight tease in the corner. Still in costume, technically… Not that it mattered too much. He stepped forward, reaching to take the box in one hand while the other went around to the back of her head, moving in to briefly kiss her before pulling back with a smile.

“Happy Valentine’s day.”

Heart: Talk about your crush

“My crush? Well, they’re stubborn, can be just as easily flustered by my teasing as they can be irritated, though that might be more because of the tricks than the teases. Might or might not be physically strong, but they’re able to put up with me, so I’d they are mentally.  They have enough will to stand their ground, but they can be flexible enough to listen to reason… Always nice, when one… isn’t exactly of the best profession. Much as they hide it at times, they do care about others, possibly to a point of wanting to get too involved in helping even if it involves danger….

Ah, but I probably shouldn’t go on too long. Hmm? Looks? Well, wouldn’t want to give too much away. A thief needs to hide some things, at times~”

The magician grins and pulls Hakuba to the kitchen and sits him down in a chair. There’s various baking ingredients out, and he gives a light kiss on the cheek. “If you oversee it, will it be okay if I made something?”

Hakuba smiled, though was a little surprised to being pulled towards the kitchen. He looked over the ingredients before looking up at Kaito, a soft, loving smile on his face. “You spoil me, you know that?” He shakes his head before nodding. “Yes, I believe, that since you have already touched me, in many ways, I will be fine with it.”

“Good.”

Kaito went to the sink, grabbing an apron from where it had been placed to the side and tying it on before washing his hands. True, Saguru didn’t mind what he did by now, but he didn’t want to risk anything.

“Didn’t want to go ahead and make something you couldn’t even have.” He grinned. “I’d be be failing a little at spoiling you if that happened.”

The crimson-wrapped box of homemade chocolate in her hand, Ran smiled nervously as she presented the box to the thief. She hoped she wasn’t out of line doing so. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”

Kid blinked at the box, then turned his head back up to her, small confusion fading into a small smile.

“Thank you, ojousan.”

He reached up to take the box, hesitating just as he raised it from her hands, then leaned in to give a peck on the other’s cheek before straightening.

“And same to you~”
