She brought a bit space between them, smiling happily at him. “Alright! Then let’s do it this way. I’ll tell my dad that we’ll do homeworks together, since I’m worried that I got too bad in class. That way, he won’t be surprised, when he enters my room and sees you. What do you say?”
A brief feeling of guilt went through him. She may be cheerful… but he knew her dad usually got home a lot later than usual during heist nights. Kaito knew he probably wouldn’t actually be there when the inspector did arrive…
“…Sounds good. Though, we’ll need to come up with something else for when we have breaks.”

When she got closer, it didn’t take too long for him to rest his head on her own shoulder, closing his eyes.
“No helping with heists. That’d be abetting a criminal, you know.”

Instead of saying anything, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down to her. She lifted her head and softly pressed her lips against his. Aoko was hoping, that he would understand, what she is trying to tell him with her action.
He blinked as the arms went around him, and just stared off into space for a few seconds after the kiss. Then, he gently returned it, hand weaving through her hair some. A minute passed and he pulled back slightly, just enough to break the kiss, but still so that his face was right in front of hers.

But she couldn’t find any reason for him to do so. So it just had to be true. Still. She wanted to know, if she wasn’t wrong. “So…your true..identity..is Kaito..Kuroba..?”
He nodded and held tighter. Kaito still couldn’t bring himself to answer that out loud while in costume, as long as he’d been hiding the truth…
