It was freezing and even Tokyo experienced some snow. Kaito loved snow, but unfortunately there was also a lot of ice on the street.

When the snowball hit him on the back of the neck, he flinched in surprise and also because some snow fell into the collar of his jacket, lost his footing on an icy patch of the sidewalk and with a yelp, landed on his behind.

For about three second he looked very confused and caught off guard, but then he quickly turned to see who had thrown the snowball. Maybe the ball had been thrown too hard, because… standing there was… himself? Another three seconds passed, while his brain decided what to do and then he quickly scrambled back to his feet while grabbing a hand full of white stuff on his own.

“I hope you know what you started!” He grinned, letting another second pass so the warning would reach the culprit and threw his finished snowball after him, crouching down to get more snow with glee.

This was probably turning into a full out war at some point, but he wasn’t the one to give up. Certainly not. This was perfect, he could anticipate what the other was thinking and the other way around, which made tactics basically… useless. In the end he was practically opting for just throwing it everywhere direct and indirect at random and wagering on who’s luck was more present at that very second.

In return of course he was also just betting on his reflexes and utterly random movements. Ditching, ducking, jumping and running with glee until he started slowly but certainly feelig a little tired and the panting became more laboured.

With a battle cry he tackled his other self down into the snow and stayed down, taking some time to just get air back into his lungs while snickering. “This was awesome!”

The magician wouldn’t hesitate to admit that the only good hit he’d gotten on his other self came from that first throw. The person who starts the fight does have the advantage there.Though it began to drag on a lot longer than the usual snowball battle due to not being able to hit each other aside from one or two completely random and lucky shots on both of their sides, no one could say the snowball fight wasn’t fun~

…Couldn’t say he’d seen his double’s sudden rush towards him coming, however. They may be the same person in one way, but they were still separate, else that first ball might not have made contact at all. They could still catch each other off guard… like now, with Kaito yelping as he hit the freezing ground, squirming a bit before putting his arms out to the sides in a huff, more than a little worn from the play himself. A grin soon made it’s way to his face, though, accompanied by a small laugh, at the energized comment.

“Yeah. it was~” The brunet paused before the grin widened, and he took some of the snow in one hand, bringing it around to his counterpart’s head before letting the arm fall back down, looking pleased. “We should do it again sometime~”
