Hakuba wrapped an arm around his waist to support him, holding him steady and nodded. “If you ever feel uneasy at anytime, I can carry you, and let me know if you start slipping and we’ll stop, alright?” He smiled softly. “I’ll stay with you till what ever this is goes away. I’ll be your legs.”
Well, his feet did still want to slide, but at least now he had a hold that would move with him, rather than having to rely on walls and such. But even if he still felt somewhat unsteady, he was not going to have Hakuba carry him all the way home.

“…Thanks.”
Kaito hugged his detective briefly before shifting so that it would be easier for them to walk, while still keeping a good hold on the other and trying not to put much weight on him.
…Okay, he’d be lying if he said that this didn’t feel silly, since the ground looked the same and was normal for Hakuba… Just not for him. Did feel better to have the support, though.
