He chewed anxiously on the pancake, still directing his gaze away. Though he could see the other out of his peripheral vision, which had become highly sensitive since his escape.
“It’s been a week, I think. I can’t remember, haven’t been keeping track.” Not that there was much need to. Pancake was half-eaten now. “… What’s it like? Being sort of a cat?”
He wants to get over this stupid magic fear.

“Well, it’s happened more than once, so it’s not that bad. Bit lazier… most small things that move are very hard to ignore… emotions want to show a lot more, actually.” He smiles as he leaned back into the chair. “Better hearing can be nice at times, though.”
