He glanced at the detective out of the corner of his eye as the other sat beside him and a nod was given to show that the company was allowed. Really, it was preferred, but the thief still didn’t say a word. After a few moments of staring at the ground, he rested his head on Shinichi’s shoulder and slowly closed his eyes, visibly relaxing.
Pushing KID to do something was never the wisest thing because the thief would do whatever he wanted to do. He was glad the other hadn’t turned him away though, sitting with him in companionable silence. Though suddenly there was a weight on his shoulder and he glanced to the thief with wide eyes and a light flush across his nose.
He relaxed when the master thief did and went back to staring out across the city below. He could… almost get used to this. Though a quiet thief was some what troubling and it made the detective worry.
Kid didn’t really want to move. He did open his eyes after some time, absently staring at the lights moving about on the street. The most recent target was held lightly in his hand. Still not the one he needed…
He pushed his cheek against Shinichi some more, reaching over to place the gem in his hands and letting out a silent breath. His father had searched for years to find Pandora. And he was beginning to wonder if it would take him just as long…
