(One thing I did like yesterday a the party that I meant to say but didn’t was that… Well, see, my friend invited some of her art school friends. And they do like anime, but mostly were talking about ones I’d heard of but hadn’t seen (yet). And one was trying to find out what I had seen, and kept naming some off and some of which I was saying I’d heard about, others I’d seen the first episode of (because I did that with quite a few to see how they were), and then a few that I had actually seen. And then he says ‘There’s this new one I’m watching right now that’s pretty good called Magic Kaito 1412. You heard of it?’

Cue staring. And then yes. Yes I have. He starts telling me about it, and I make a few comments. And he says that Kaito’s a cool character and that’s when I go: Trust me, I know. I’m a Kaito RPer. I’ve also read the manga. And the specials. Oh, and look, I dressed as Kid for Halloween. Do you watch the raws, because episode 7 came out this morning. Oh, here’s another costume picture see, look I have the gun too. Yeah, Kaito can be a bit of a jerk, you should have seen him in the manga. You haven’t read it? Read it, trust me. No, no his phobia is never really explained.

And then smaller discussions of various things, jokes at Kaito’s expense about the fact we were at an ice rink, and good times before cake distracted. But then that guy kept saying I was Kaito the rest of the time, which I was more than happy with, even if I didn’t suck at skating as much as Kai.)

(Fun as this current situation with Kai and Hakuba and Spider is… I need to run off to work for now… Leaving both muses a bit uncomfortable…. C’mon you two, it’s not all that bad…)

(Ok, and now that I’ve actually finished the episode.. Yep, still like it~ Managed to include the things I liked about both of Hakuba’s appearances~ No offense Spider, but I did want to see the ice skating failures and the competitiveness over Aoko, so…

Also, I’m much happier than I should be at that preview. For the simple fact that I saw blood, which was one thing I kinda wanted to see in Akako’s first appearance.)

(And the wrench is there too.~ Very much liking the more manga adaptation for his first appearance~ Especially since I actually hated Spider to begin with when he first appeared in the specials because I was a bit irritated at not being able to see Kaito fall flat on his face on the ice. I got over it, though.)

(And I completely agree with Kaito’s reaction right here. As does my Kai. So, so much. A ton of anger and just “How DARE you?!!!” Whether or not it’s Toichi himself or someone disguising as him. Seriously, to have the nerve to show that face to someone who is obviously following in Toichi’s footsteps, regardless of whether or not they know if Kaito is Kid, just…. So much wanting to punch this guy. If it’s Toichi, then he’d have to be one of the most horrible people to do that to his son. Chikage should know that doing something like would just be wrong. And if he’s really someone who knew Toichi, do not go around wearing the face of someone who’s dead! NONE of those are okay! I don’t care HOW much you wanted to ‘shock’ him! And no amount of protecting Kid and acting all cool is ever going to make this okay. If we see more of the character, I may come to like them, but this…. no. Never going to approve of this. Even Kai is brooding…)

2. What drew you to rping this character?

(Well, I was (am?) a (lazy) fanfiction writer. Didn’t write too often, but I had/still have a lot of random ideas. And Kid went a bit out of my control even in the few one-shots I wrote, going into stories where he wasn’t supposed to be, and kinda stuck around. Spider came after I started to get interested in his character, and a head!OC kinda got dragged into seeing what he was like in my mind… And after certain things happened to that OC (Pity him. He gets thrown into many series I like in my head and usually gets into more trouble than he can deal with), Spider actually didn’t seem as bad as I thought. Granted, we don’t know much to begin with, but I got attached to him, and Kai just sorta clung and wouldn’t let go… So when I finally got a tumblr account, on top of following random people I knew, I found some DC/MK RP blogs, and they looked like fun. I actually made Spider’s blog first, since he didn’t exist in the RP community that I could see, but wanted to wait until a Hakuba was available to actually have him jump in (before Cleanba was made and while Gab’s was on hiatus), so I let Kai out in the meantime. So to answer… it wasn’t so much what drew me to RP them, it was just them wanting to come out and play, really, since I wasn’t writing much by way of fanfiction… And wow this got long….)

10. What’s the hardest thing for you to write?

(Category-wise? Probably the stuff like violence and torture. Not because I particularly mind them, but more because I tend to over-think things and want have things happen as realistically as possible (Kai’s magic not always included and Spider’s illusions excluded too) and I’m not well versed enough to know how much pain something could cause or when something is taken too far. I have general ideas, but I don’t think I’m descriptive or creative enough to come up those kinds of things. Which is strange to say, considering Spider… but that’s also why he’s more of a mental torturer than a physical one…)

22. Do you like lots of headcanons or few?

(Hmm…. this might be a bit contradictory. I like lots of headcanons, but at the same time, about 80 percent of the headcanons I do myself are made up on the spot as a situation demands one. Or a situation brings up one at random, but they still just happen sporadically. So long as they don’t go against character, I love more headcanons, though.)

43. Do you usually prefer chat/short replies, or long/para/novella replies?

(Prefer? Ha…. well, it’s probably fairly obvious that I get to shorter replies a lot faster, but then, more often than not, they start growing… It just takes so long to write longer replies, but I love getting them myself, so… Ahaha…. *reads and re-reads other people’s reponses a lot more often than actually writing*)

54. What’s a trope or plot you love but you’ve never gotten to roleplay or never gotten to roleplay in completion?

(That would have to be… (watch as the more evil side comes out) a mind break of sorts, actually. I’d like to see someone try and rein in an insane Kid or something. Despite how much he tries to hide it, he is very much not stable. I mean, unless something really scarring happened, he still wouldn’t be hurting people. Just probably end up scaring people to near-death. plot/trope for Spider… Hmm… Nothing really specific comes to mind right now, since he’s still very much new and a lot of situations with him right now are outside of what he normally does…)

9. What’s a difference you have with your character?

(Ahaha… the biggest different would have to be that he’s social and friendly. I may be willing to bug all you people online, but off the computer, I am the quietest wallflower you can find. Really, people have called me a… (pfft, sorry, thinking of the irony here)… ninja assassin. Looks like I know where other muse comes out….)

12. Why do you roleplay?

(Well… no big reason, really. It’s the same things that motivates a lot of my muses actions. It’s fun and I always like to see what happens. Since I made the blogs on a whim, I can say I got pulled a lot deeper into than I thought I would. Not that it had been the first time ever that I’d RPed, but it’s a lot different than the random spur-of-the-moment-and-gone-in-a-few-minutes ones I did over chat. Also, Kai was in my head loooong before I thought about RPing, and he wanted out after I went around lurking for a bit…)

36. Do you ever read rp threads you aren’t involved in? What type of thread does it usually have to be to interest you?

(Hee, hee… yep~ I did get interested in RPing here specifically from reading other people’s threads, so the habit never really left. It has died down some, though, so I don’t ‘read’ all of them…. but I skim most of them. Really, any type of thread interests me, so… Hmm… Maybe any that make a character uncomfortable. Because reactions~)

38. Has a roleplayer ever changed your view on a character? If so, how? Good or bad? For better or for worse?

(Hmm… well… I read a ton of fanfiction before hopping over to make a tumblr account…. so that, coupled with having a ridiculous memory at times when it comes to manga, anime, video games… A lot of character’s core personalities were already cemented in my head, so I’m not sure any roleplayers have changed my view that I can think of… If they have, it was so subtle and mixed with what I already knew that I didn’t even notice. So… I guess I’m not sure.)
