Kid tensed before taking a quick step back, open jacket flaring out as he did, eying the other a moment or two before he straightened up. Hmm… Surprise aside, the other looked familiar… Hmm… Oh. Yeah.

“…I know you said white wasn’t sneaky, but I don’t think that means you get to take off any of my clothes, dorobou-san.”

“What a shame. And here I was only trying to help out a fellow thief,” Sylwen sighed dramatically and shook his head, lips pursed into a disappointed pout. A pout that shifted into a pleased and much-too-innocent-to-be-real smile less than half a second later.

“Though I’m glad to hear that you remember me, kittycat~”

“I’m fairly good at remembering faces.” Especially if they’re perfectly fine with starting up a conversation with a criminal. Or even if they didn’t know Kaitou Kid, talking with the weird guy walking around in a white suit, top hat, and monocle. Either way, something to pay attention to.

…Though he knew as much about the other now as he had when they first met. Which was a lot of nothing, other than the suspicion of the guy being of the same occupation was now confirmed.

Kid kept an eye on the thief, crossing his arms, head tilting slightly.

“So was ‘trying to help’ the only thing you wanted, or was there some other business you wanted with me?”

“…I know you said white wasn’t sneaky, but I don’t think that means you get to take off any of my clothes, dorobou-san.”

“Mm, you know,” the thief began, arms crossed as he leaned against the wall, watching the whiteclad male with a smirk tinged with amusement and curiosity. “A white suit isn’t exactly the sneakiest choice for breaking and entering. Unless you /want/ to get caught, that is.”

Kid turned his head towards the other, hiding any surprise he may have felt behind a smirk of his own. He didn’t respond right away, taking a few more seconds to open the lock he’d started on. Once that was done, he stood to face the other completely, casually making the equipment he was using vanish as he moved a hand up to tip his hat to the speaker in greeting, other hand sliding into his pocket.

This person had certainly been quiet, and the dark outfit they sported didn’t really give off the impression of them just being a normal bystander… however, they also didn’t seem to be antagonistic. So, other than a light caution, the magician thief wasn’t too concerned with the unexpected company.

“Hmm… if by caught, you mean seen, then perhaps… but I’m a lot harder to actually catch than I look. I appreciate the concern, though.” And now the other hand fell into a pocket as well. “Are you here for any particular reason, or just wanting to give out thieving advice?”
