“A little to the left. Down a little. There.” Kaito slumped in relief. For all his flexibility, there were just some places that were a pain to reach.
Kaito tilted his head to the side as the fingers on his back started to roam again. That… That felt amazing.
“I’ll do you next, but-”
Kaito down! Kaito down!
He continued for a few minutes before the fingers stilled, and he leaned around the other to find his counterpart asleep. Laughing silently a little, he took off his cape and put it over the magician.
Well, might not have meant to do quite that much, but enjoy the reprieve, Kaito~

The thief focused on the area his other self indicated, gently, but firmly running his fingers along the area. Doing this sort of thing certainly wasn’t something he’d say no to for most people, but especially one who was essentially himself… And helping aside, he also enjoyed how relaxing it could be, for both of them. In fact, once the initial area seemed taken care of, the hand moved further out, scratching in small spirals and soon joined by the second hand on the opposite side.
“Well, hope you don’t mind if I ignore that wall people seem to like to break, Kara, because I’d have to give my praise for your friendliness and enthusiasm about things. Certainly not afraid to comment and ramble, which is fun to read, but also that you were so inspired by fanfiction. For many things, not just because it made another me to play with~”
((I feel the same way about the gods on the list, honestly. Artemis is my favorite. Partially because Artemis Fowl, partially because archery and stuff. I dislike that it’s only the Roman name paired with her jerky twin in the list.))

He quickly darted in front of his counterpart, hopping on one of his shoes when he finished taking a step. At the very least, should get him to stop moving…
Kaito looked down when he felt a sudden weight on his foot.
“My foot’s not a chair. You’re a brave one, aren’t you?” And so small. It looked too young to be alone. “Are you lost?”
Yes! Got his attention. Good first step. Now…
Kaito looked up at his other self, ears twitching and head tilting slightly before he shook it. Lost, no. Just having a problem. Though, responding to the question like that definitely wasn’t normal cat behaviour.
He stepped off the other, since there wasn’t any need to try and balance there now that the magician saw him, and pawed some at his leg before walking in one direction, looking back shortly, meowing and flicking his tail to get the other to follow.
“Permission? Since when do we need permission to go anywhere?”
The thief paused before laughing.
“Excellent point~ Well then, I suppose I should just say welcome, and I hope you’ll enjoy the stay to the fullest~”
He lowered the arm that held the cape to block his other self, allowing him in the room. Sheets were suspended from the ceiling to drape around the bed and other furniture. It certainly made the place feel cozier and very other-worldly, with strings of lights to light the area rather than the usual one on the ceiling. Darker and smaller than usual, but warm.
