“I don’t think I’d have a problem with that.” He grinned, then spread his arms wide, giving his double an expectant look. “…You’re not gonna leave me hanging, are you?”
“Let’s just say that it would involve a lot of bodily contact. Possibly painful,” the magician snickered, arms wrapping tight around the thief as he leaned in to nuzzle against him and press a playful kiss to the tip of his nose. “Missed you, robot-kun~”
There probably would have been a show of a pout at the kiss… if he could have fought against the urge to smile at all. Oh well.
Hmm… could return the action, or tease a bit with one to the cheek or such. But no, foregoing that to give a light, brief kiss to the other’s lips instead.
“I don’t think I’d have a problem with that.” He grinned, then spread his arms wide, giving his double an expectant look. “…You’re not gonna leave me hanging, are you?”
The thief gave a hum before mirroring the other’s grin.
“What would you do if I did?” Not that it’s going to be an option, since he moved in to hug his double, despite the words. It had been what he’d wanted to begin with, after all, and the offer was usually taken when given.
His throat went tight and he swallowed down the pathetic sound that threatened to leave his lips as he wrapped his arms tight around the thief, burying his face in the crook of his neck.
The soothing motion and solid warmth of his double’s body and the soft whispers in his ear eased the shaking wracking his body into faint trembling instead and the tight hold on the back of the thief’s jacket loosened, just a tad, as the panic flooding his chest shrunk into something just a little more manageable.
“Sorry,” he whispered after a little while, voice quiet and strangely hoarse. “A-and thank you.”
The hold tightened for a moment, the thief giving a small kiss to the side of his other self’s head before tilting his own against it.
“You’re welcome. And you don’t need to apologise, it’s not your fault.” His voice was calm, soothing the other being more important. Though, he’s none too happy about this being caused either. Wished he could do more, but right now, he’ll behere for Kaito. He can do that much.

Kid tightened his own hold as his counterpart did, pulling him close as he whispered soft words of reassurance. His eyes closed briefly when those trailed off, just leaving him holding the other in, hopefully comforting, silence for now, one hand gently going along the other’s back.

The little magician stared, eyes wide in awe and locked onto the whiteclad stranger landing in the small clearing of the park Kaito had woken up to find himself in. He didn’t remember how he’d gotten here and why, of all things, he was here so late at night, but the worry he might’ve felt about it and the fear of what his parents would say faded in the blink of an eye the moment his gaze landed on the white figure, excitement and curiosity quickly taking over.
It was only when the other male unfolded his wings – were they wings? They looked like wings, almost! – that Kaito could bring himself to move, snapping out of the awed daze to rush forward, a wide, bright grin on his face and eyes quite literally sparkling.
“That was so cool!” the small magician exclaimed, circling the other and prodding curiously at his clothes and cape, only barely resisting the urge to tug. “Did you just fly? How did you do that? Can you teach me?!”
“Secret magic?” he repeated, amazement only growing, hands clutching at the white fabric and tugging it closer to his face to examine it, in the hopes of finding the answer to flying somewhere within the cape. “You can trust me, though! I can already do all kinds of tricks and I’m not too young for any of those!”
Kaito grinned, honest confidence spreading across his face as he slapped a hand over his heart, beaming, hopefully, up at the whiteclad stranger.
“And I promise not to tell anyone else about it. Magician’s honor!”
The thief smiled at the boy’s curiosity, though the sense of familiarity grew. Pretty excited about magic, and how he looked…
…Yeah, he has enough pictures of himself with his dad to recognise that expression and face. But, even if he has doubles, most aren’t usually ones to see him, much less younger ones… But he also didn’t seem to recognise the outfit to be shrunken or anything. Hmm. Well, shouldn’t be too hard to get him back where he should be, so the younger wouldn’t catch on quickly.
“Magician, huh? Quite the profession, for someone your age.” Didn’t seem to mind the ‘wings’ examining. He wasn’t using the glider now anyway, and wouldn’t, unless he went up another building. The confidence earned a wider smile, though.
“Hmm… I don’t know… What sorts of tricks can you do now?”

It’d hopefully take a while for the police to catch on to where exactly he’d gone. Though, when they did, even they might could guess he’d be long gone. Harder to move though a park without their cars, and he could easily escape them on foot, once he got out of his suit…
…When the ecstatic boy who’d just started poking at the cape was done, anyway. Actually… he looked a bit familiar…
“I think you’re a little young to be taught how to do that right now,” Kid chuckled, taking the side of his cape in hand as he squatted down and put it over the other with a grin. “But maybe you’ll get the chance to fly when you’re older. For now, it’s a secret magic~”
Eyes widening a little at the sudden kiss, it… actually took him a moment to get his thoughts back, for once. Sure, the had their ‘game of tag’, but those had still been – mostly – quick pecks and such…
When he did recover, there wasn’t a pulling away and trying to brush it off with a smile. No, though he did give a faint one against the other’s lips before he pressed back in a kiss of is own, closing his eyes for the moment and letting his arms go around the magician without much thought.
Close. Close was good. Great, even, the hand in his hair and at his back adding to the twisting, whirling, swirling sensation in his chest and stomach and the magician felt a pleased warmth wash through him at the sound leaving the thief.
He’d always enjoyed the kisses he’d shared with his other self, but this–
A soft sound, muffled by the mouth pressed against his own, suspiciously similar to the one that had left the thief mere seconds ago, and Kaito shifted just a few final inches closer until their bodies were almost pressed flush together. Air was starting to become an issue and he knew he’d better pull away soon, but…
Just a little more would be fine, right?
A tad darker of a flush came to the thief’s face at the sound, and yes, wanting to stay in this as long as they could. The warmth of the magician pressed against him, the feel and taste… far nicer than the kiss and fluster ‘games’ they’ve had. If it could only last…
Kid gave in to the eventual need and pulled his head back enough to only just break the kiss, reluctantly, so he could draw in much needed breaths, still keeping his hold on the other teen, though his fingers may loosen up a bit.

Invitation given, the magician tentatively licked into his double’s mouth, exploring, tasting, tongue sliding against tongue, flicking lightly, experimentally, playfully, fingers curling tighter, just a little, at the dark, messy strands.
It was…interesting. New. Exciting?
Yes, Kaito decided, fighting back a shiver, and he couldn’t help but wonder if, their looks taken into consideration, they tasted the same as well? Heat and embarrassment rising in his cheeks at the thought made the magician decide to file that question away for later as well.
A pleased hum – or possibly a soft moan, up for debate – left the thief when he felt the other, brushing and curling curiously at the welcomed tongue with his own. Definitely all of those views, though add a faint feeling of surreal. Tease and flirts came naturally, this…
…Going to set aside his own thoughts about the parallels between them at the moment. Too much to consider there, and he’d rather focus on now.
One hand ran up through the magician’s hair, other grasping lightly at the back of his shirt as he pressed closer.

There was the barest tug of his lips, a hint of a smile, warmth flickering through his chest as fingers absently brushed through his double’s hair. No, it didn’t matter. Not right now, at least. Questions could be saved for later, because right now, he just…
…he really just wanted to…
Uncertainty made the magician hesitate, if only for a moment, before lips parted, just enough to give the thief’s own a light, questioning lick.
Pausing briefly, Kid felt a small amount of heat rise before opening his mouth for the other in response. Beyond that, just a light, gentle brush of fingers over the magician’s neck, unsure as to which of them would be leading the kiss more right now, as they… still technically were the same person…
Baseless in arguing against anything, at this point and with a few things they’ve done, certainly thoughts he’s had, but it still brought up clearly important questions like this.
