The longer the teen lingered in one spot, the more concerned Conan became. The obvious hesitation and lost-in-thought expression caused for worry – if he was uncomfortable with the place, why bother going inside?
He was about to ask the obvious question when the expression he was glancing over suddenly changed and the seemingly frightened male finally moved from his place in line. With his own money in hand, Conan quickly bought his ticket and hurried in after the stranger.
Keeping his distance, the tiny detective kept an eye on the bundle of nerves that observed one of the many maps handed out throughout the aquarium. He had his own folded and stuffed into his jacket pocket, since he was already familiar with the place.
“That’s my favorite spot,” he chirped once he had approached the stranger’s side and peeked at the map.
Kaito started at the chibi detective popping up next to him again. …Was he going to be following him around the whole time? Not that he minded too much, any company would be kinda nice, but… someone less likely to pick up on why he might be here would have been better…
“Oh… This one?” He asked, tilting the map down so the other could see, pointing to the spot he’d been making note of. Tantei-kun’s favourite, huh… At the very least, that meant he’d been here before. (The again, most people do when there’s one close, don’t they? Just not him, ahaha… Okay, ignore it, ignore, here for a reason.) Nice that one of them knew the place… If he can focus while he’s here, maybe he could ask a little about it.
“My friend recommended I look at that one. Or, technically that I should see all of the place, but that section, if nothing else.. Is it special or something?”
