He tilted his head to the side, slightly – considering the thought. “Hm. Maybe. It could just be the straw that breaks their backs, though. Well, the backs of those that weren’t already broken from being tossed off the roof, of course.”
Very concerned look. Heist notes and odd behaviour is one thing…
“…Why are you tossing people off the roof?”
“Oh, they will.” Smirk. “They’ve been trying to pick me apart for months and months now, when I finally offered them one tiny stable thing – constant riddles. Taking that away… Who knows what they’ll start to surmise from that little change? They’re all grasping at straws.”
“Dunno… They should already know they can’t get a read on your mind, so I’d think they’d be glad for a break from constant riddles. You’d have already thrown them off with everything else they thought they knew about how Kid operates, I don’t think this little thing will change their mindsets all that much. Put them attempting to figure you out now back to square one, yes, but not something to be completely tripped up by.”
“Shh.” Kaito poked at the other Kid’s cheek. “Pandora loves riddles. Ever since I got it, riddles have been the only thing I’ve sent in.”
“…Still shouldn’t confuse them in any way. They were used to non-riddles before, it won’t be that odd when you go back. It’s why people people have tried using my name in painting stealing and all of that. I might be known for stealing jewels now, but I’ve stolen stolen other things in the past, so they don’t find it odd if a note is send out for something not a gem…”
Just sayin’. They won’t care at all if it’s a bare facts note…
