((The fear of getting something wrong that Kaito wouldn’t is the entire reason I’m refusing to reblog anything about puzzles or riddles.))

(I do worry a bit when I have to try and completely guess. Which is why I go into overthinking and rambling. Both he and I like puzzles too much to resist, but even if I get it wrong (and by extension, him), he doesn’t perfectly know everything. And he’s the type to just shrug it off normally and want to know the actual answer, because curiosity trumps pride if he’s already lost. He doesn’t worry much about it. Kai’ll still try, regardless. (And if he gets a command he doesn’t like, even moreso) But overall, he just has fun whether he gets it right or not.

…Though if he thinks it makes sense, he will argue his reasons forever until he makes sure everyone knows he’s still right, even if it wasn’t the answer they wanted.

And my reasoning if he gets something wrong at some point is that, like most, he’s not perfect. He’s good at puzzles and critical thinking, but it doesn’t mean he aces everything. Like Conan, to an extent, it’s oftentimes that something has to coincidentally trigger a connection for him to figure tricks out himself. He be luck based and think-on-his-feet based, so even if he likes puzzles, if he’s not always right, it’s still fine.)
