He chuckled. “Is that so? You seem to be quite the talk for the past few days because of your little heists.”

“I’d hardly call them ‘little’. And if you’ve heard about them, then why haven’t I seen a certain chibi stopping in to mess with them? You may not have gotten invites recently, but that doesn’t mean you can’t come at all, you know?”

…Not sure what to think of seeing the dragon right now… On the one hand, he seemed nice enough while Kaito had been human. But… just… uncertain now that he was a much smaller cat…

He looked up at the other, tail waving slowly behind him, slightly wary. Maybe the other could understand cat language?

Umm… hi?

The cat’s smile looked a bit off but wasn’t too much of a distraction. The problem was mainly getting back to the dragon realms to find a fairy to help. It wasn’t as if they were just wandering around this world. Well any that he knew anyways.

image

Well…we may have to take a trip to my home. The dragon realms, or the forgotten realms, don’t know why we still call them that. Either way there’s people who could help in either place.

Then again, the magician had been really surprised at his appearance. How well would he handle seeing any of his friends?

…Or maybe I go there and come back with Zoe or any other fairy I can find.

Dragon realms? …After seeing one dragon, guess I shouldn’t be too surprised there might be more… I don’t mind going or waiting here, really. Just whichever might help get me back on two legs again fastest would be great.

He’s currently a cat, and talking to a purple dragon about getting help from fairies. Pretty sure it’d take a lot to get him freaked out by this point…

  • 8:Talk about the thing you are most proud of.

  • (In general, I might have to say I’m most proud of being a sort of jack-of-all trades when it comes to most things. I mean, following that is still ‘master of none’, but I’m fairly proud at being able to pick things up easily. It doesn’t apply to spouts of knowledge, though, more practical things, but I do learn easily. Watching, applied with common sense and a little practice, and I can usually do a passable job. I rarely have to attempt something more than once to know what to do, unless I’m completely lost. Applies to all sorts of things, really, specific skills like making ribbon roses or learning CPR, or broad things like writing and making amvs. Latter take more practice to do well, but I don’t know, just something I do feel proud of.)

  • 32:Talk about a place you remember from your childhood.
  • (Oh childhood… My most randomly spaced and yet specific source of memories… I think for this I’d have to go with school, honestly. More specifically, the playground. And the reason for that is because my nicer friend’s house had a back fence that opened to the school, and it just took a few minutes walk to get across the field that separated them. Made us feel like rebels, no adults to yell at us for going to far away. …Maybe i should just say the neighborhood in general from my childhood, because jeeze… It really did feel a lot different than it does now. I explored all the time without adult supervision, and without fear of anything dangerous, really. Most we had to worry about was getting scraped or being found by people at the school while we were playing there, because we technically weren’t allowed to be there outside of school hours, even if just the playground.)

  • 38:Talk about songs that remind you of certain people.
  • (Ahaha… I’m actually bad about songs for characters more than I am for actual people. I may have a few, if I think, but for the most part, songs go to the fandom mind. And half of them go to Kai for all sorts of reasons, biggest of which is probably because I could see certain scenes matching the lyrics and it fitting his overall personality/character. So for opposite reasons, might have to go Gab’s route of songs for muses.

Saying that, I don’t actually make playlists, per se. Kai’s songs range from Livin’ la Vida Loca to Angel With a Shotgun to I Will Not Bow. He be wild and everywhere, so a lot of things actually match him fairly well.

Spider’s got a smaller, slightly less random list, a few of my choices aside. Monster by Imagine Dragons fits mine well, though I wish there was enough material for him to use Oogie Boogie’s song for the canon one, because that image will never leave my head… I mean imagine: ‘Well, well, well… what have we here? ‘Kaitou Kid’, huh? Ooo, I’m really scared.’ If that wasn’t ‘canon’ Spider’s first thoughts of Kai, I’d be shocked.

I obsess too much over muses, gomen.)

  • 39:Talk about things you wish you’d known earlier.
  • (I wish I’d known about… Hmm… Fandoms? It wasn’t until Detective Conan that I really got into fandoms to any extent, because I found fanfiction and a forum and Tumblr because of it. Before that, I had to work with pictures I found, amvs on Youtube, maybe the odd person out that actually like the same things I did to help support things I liked. I seriously wasn’t aware of fandoms until I binged watched all of DC in 2012, then went online, found a thread for funny Conan captions on a forum, lurked in that thread, then a bit more of the forum, found fanfiction through someone’s signature, read that person’s 42 chapter fic for DC/MK, read more, made on account on the forums, stayed there, joined their chat on IRC, learned how to edit pictures better, learned how to make amvs, eventually found Tumblr and lurked on personal blogs ’til I spotted a Hakuba rper because of one of them, lurked on their blog, then on some Kaito blogs, until my own Kaito that had been born from writing fanfiction bugged me enough to rp, though I started by making Spider’s account first, then Kai’s for the actual first experience…. And yeah, just would have been nice to start all of it earlier, since barely anyone, even the ones that knew anime, liked the same ones I did…)

  • 1:Talk about the first time you watched your favorite movie.

  • (Okay, first plan of action: come up with a favourite movie. Much as I love Disney, I can’t really go with them for this… Dang, I feel weird. Not just now, I mean I didn’t even have a movie I liked to see over and over as a kid… That’s what the Pokemon show was for. Umm… Ahaha, I might have to go with The Mask for this, actually. If I remembered Who Framed Roger Rabbit better, I might choose that, but just fun half-nonsensical movies… Problem with that is the first time I saw The Mask, I was probably six, and it was on TV at someones house while my parents and I were there. So I saw part of it and it caught my attention, and I complained so much when we were leaving that they found the channel it was on after we got home so I could finish it. But i don’t really remember how I felt or anything, other than that I liked it. I liked it better when I was older and sat though it all at once, and I have the movie’s version of Cuban Pete for a possible amv idea at some point I mean what?)

  • 5:Talk about the best birthday you’ve had.
  • (Eleventh. I should say, we’ve never don’t anything really special for birthdays, outside of sleepovers with friends, but that was still fresh from moving, so instead some of my extended family came over, mostly grandparents and my great-uncle. Family is always fun, we play board games and card games, and my uncle got me a leather jacket, because he rides Harleys and stuff, and it was just overall nice. Starting to realise how boring of a person I truly am, jk, jk.)

  • 11:Talk about the best dream you’ve ever had.
  • (Good dreams are just as nonsensical as nightmares, but one that comes to mind that was really fun: I was Metal Sonic, and apparently good, because I was fighting Eggman and specifically going up against a second Metal Sonic, which was more powerful. In the end, I had to play dead and ended up tricking it into getting close enough to catch it off guard enough to beat, and Sonic and the others were cheering for me, and then I told Eggman how he messed up. And I woke up thinking what an idiot I was, why tell the bad guy what he needed to fix, and hoping he doesn’t come back to get me at some point. :V (Just to say, my dreams fall into three categories: Wandering around, running away from something, or action. I can literally not think of one that doesn’t fall under one of these.))

  • 14:Talk about a vacation.
  • (Only real vacations I’ve had outside of visiting family would be a couple of trips to Disneyworld, (High influence? Perhaps.) and one trip I had without family to Florida. It was during spring break and my friend at the time (after the first move, much better friend) invited me to go to Florida with another of her friends and her dad. Staying in a trailer near a small beach. It felt a lot like camping, but shopping around, spending time with friends, swimming in the ocean for the first and thus far only time, collecting shells… It was very, very fun, and actually… the first time I was ever introduced to any kind of roleplaying, now that I think about it. All of us liked Naruto, and they already had OCs for verbal roleplaying, and, well, that’s when I made my own. It was something we did when we were hiding out in the trailer, taking a break from the sun or for meals and such. Disneyworld was fun, but that trip was a lot more special.)

  • 19:Talk about something that happened in middle school.
  • (Middle school, middle school… well, that’s actually when we moved a second time, jumping states from Tennessee to Texas, so… One thing that was nice there was, there was a sort of competition. Like a spelling bee, but it was guessing the definitions of words instead. And I was the only one in class who didn’t miss a single one and got to try for the larger one with people from other classes. I didn’t get far at all, but it was nice, because I randomly guess half the time and use intuition, so it felt good for that to work so well.

…Was also the year I gave teachers beanie babies of their favourite animal. And had my homeroom teacher call the Canadian girl ‘Frenchy’. Was all in jest, but that was a good year, for all that it also marked the beginning of not doing work out of laziness. Namely, essays. Good-but-lazy-as-heck writer didn’t make people happy. Still got a high grade in there, though. I am that smart person people hated in school, seriously.)

  • 12:Talk about the worst dream you’ve ever had.

  • (Hmm… I don’t dream too often, really, and even most nightmares are just something really silly… Ah. I think possibly possibly one of the most confusing ones that I actually woke up crying was… I don’t remember too many specifics, but what it ended with was some woman holding me at gunpoint, but then I shot her first (or hurt her in some way, fatally) and then she said she was my mom before dying. …Yeah… Woke up with actual tears, but it was still very nonsensical. For one, the person didn’t look like my mom at all, and was dressed like a southern belle? And the background for all of this was in some sort of 3-d area with something like NASCAR in the distance. Floating in midair.
  • ..So while the idea is still not good, I really can’t take that dream to seriously outside the dream.)
  • 22:Talk about your worst fear.
  • (For me, that might have to be getting lost. Anywhere, not just physically. Only exception being in thoughts. But I didn’t even want to drive for the longest time outside of to school and back because I really thought I’d get so horribly lost. And even now, I have to pull out my phone’s navigation if I go anywhere beyond places I’ve been to a million times. And I say not just physically, because it’s kinda where I am with thinking about future jobs. I went to college a couple of years for one major, then when I experienced it some, I found it didn’t actually interest me. And it was the type that you have to want to do it to get anywhere… So I have a retail job while I try to figure out what to do next, but I’m really not sure.)
  • 25:Talk about an ex-best friend.
  • (Now this, I have stuff to say.
  • Okay, first off, she was the first friend I had my age. I was five, and up ‘til then, I was bugging the teenager nextdoor. Seemed alright at first, and as oblivious as I was as a kid, I didn’t notice anything until looking back, but she was a selfish and spoiled brat. I was literally the most innocent ‘go down the street and casually chat with the neighbor I’ve never met’ kid. (Which obviously wouldn’t happen today. Good times back then, though.) She never really apologised for anything she did, wouldn’t let me play with much aside from what she was doing at the time, got jealous over little things… I mean, two specific examples I can think of regarding how she acted would be: I got stuck in a tree one time because I’d gone up too high and was afraid to come down. She stood there a while, calling me a baby, before going off with another friend to get help. The other friend came back with my mom, she apparently had gone home. And the worser experience, because it even got through my obliviousness, involves Pokemon Crystal. We both had it, and she lost hers at some point. Sometime later, I find out mine went missing as well. Next time I see her, she apparently found hers, and yeah, I actually got suspicious, so I asked if I could see which Pokemon she had. And she told me she’d started a new save file. 😐 My mom was not happy with her and got my game back, and after that, we put my initials on all of my games. She didn’t really ever become an ex-best friend until I moved when I was ten, because I wasn’t mean, and as few friends as I had, I kept them. But what really got to me back then was when I invited her to the new house to see her one more time, and she never interacted with me directly, mostly chatting with our other friend, and acted like I was already completely gone already…
  • And as good a memory as I have, I can think of more, and I won’t ever really forget, so… Yeah.)
  • 34:Talk about the worst physical pain you’ve endured.
  • (I’ve… never actually been hurt too badly that I’ve remembered… Plenty of scraped knees, but no broken bones even. I’ve kept a fairly safe life, for all the spills on bikes and tree climbing I did in the past. So… I don’t know. Worst I can think of in terms of injury was still just a bad scraping, though it could’ve ended a lot worse if I didn’t have a helmet. The bike I was riding belonged to my mom, because my wheels were flat, and I was going down a hill, about to brake to turn into someone’s house… Well, her brakes were a lot more sensitive than mine, and the bike completely flipped over. Cartwheeling style. Terrified me at the time, I was so disoriented, scrapped my legs, shoulder, and other arm, and broke the visor on my helmet completely off. In terms of pain, it’s fairly light from what it could have been, but I just don’t get hurt too often… I mean, I would have said the more recent ‘all wisdom teeth extracted’ experience, but it wasn’t too bad, really. Annoying, because I couldn’t eat properly for a while, but I don’t know. Fear heightens how bad things feel looking back, even if it actually helps it not feel as bad at the time.)

You were in my debt, and that settled it. I do feel a little bad about the whole bomb thing, but can’t we let bygones be bygones? It’s not like I’m going to rely on you for something that important again.”

“By all rights, the fact that I’ll come and chat with you means I don’t feel as bad about it… But since you were commenting on why Kaitous don’t trust you… We can forgive, to an extent, but it’s not something we’ll forget easily, you know. And aside from that, I think the explosion went beyond what your ‘favour’ got you…”

(You know you’ve played a game too much when you pick it up after a good five months and manage to get an 894 combo when your high score is 965… Jeeze. I can’t tell if it’s actual skill of just muscle memory, much as I repeated it over and over… Think I love the samba marathon in Rhythm Thief a biiit too much…)
