“Something wrong, tantei?~”

“So… today is my day, hmm?”
…

“I’m perfectly fine with that~”

Kaito grinned and pressed the play button for the music to start on his laptop before stepping back and taking a breath, trying to keep from bouncing because, well, that comes later~
A few seconds in and the music started to get louder, and, okay, now bounce a bit as he moved his arms, almost as if testing how they worked and shifting his weight from one side, then the other, until he put his arms out to the sides completely. And the beat started.
The magician took a step forward, one hand coming up in front to one side, then mirrored it on the other side with another step, and now spread out again as he spun around. And he kept flowing into one movement, then the next, from turning hips to hand motions.
And it was just the beginning~
“♪ Hajime to owari no iranai imi. Kono kokoro jouhatsu e to~”
Dare ga hinsei o oboeteru ka? Kyouki no mado kara, sayounara~ ♪" He sang, one hand now on his hip as it swayed and he waved and flipped the other hand in the air above his head.
((The fear of getting something wrong that Kaito wouldn’t is the entire reason I’m refusing to reblog anything about puzzles or riddles.))
(I do worry a bit when I have to try and completely guess. Which is why I go into overthinking and rambling. Both he and I like puzzles too much to resist, but even if I get it wrong (and by extension, him), he doesn’t perfectly know everything. And he’s the type to just shrug it off normally and want to know the actual answer, because curiosity trumps pride if he’s already lost. He doesn’t worry much about it. Kai’ll still try, regardless. (And if he gets a command he doesn’t like, even moreso) But overall, he just has fun whether he gets it right or not.
…Though if he thinks it makes sense, he will argue his reasons forever until he makes sure everyone knows he’s still right, even if it wasn’t the answer they wanted.
And my reasoning if he gets something wrong at some point is that, like most, he’s not perfect. He’s good at puzzles and critical thinking, but it doesn’t mean he aces everything. Like Conan, to an extent, it’s oftentimes that something has to coincidentally trigger a connection for him to figure tricks out himself. He be luck based and think-on-his-feet based, so even if he likes puzzles, if he’s not always right, it’s still fine.)

“Just to say, even if you come in two years late, the box is always open for riddles, command accompanied or not~”

“…Did you just make that up for me, or was that something that existed beforehand? Because it’s certainly a riddle that suits Kid~ Also… this particular riddle marathon is for me to get it wrong and you to command something for if I do… You just wanting to give riddles? Hakuba mun has reasons for not saying a command, but that doesn’t mean you can’t.”
